Ore Microscope

Ore Microscope is a Principal Piece of equipment used by the Geologists to observe the optical properties of minerals. It has indispensable applications for Petrography, Crystallography Geology or finding stress points in metal, glass and Textiles, etc.It permits orthoscopically or conoscopically to examine and identify the structures of material with highly resolved Distinctive image under various magnifications.
Stage - Compact ball-bearing rotating stage, 140mm diameter, graduated with vernier, lock and stage specimen clips.
Focussing - Separate knobs are provided for coarse and fine focussing adjustments.
Transmitted illuminator - Plano-concave mirror diameter 50mm mounted on gimble mount, interchangeable with sub-stage 15W lamp for 220V or 110V.
Incident illuminator - with pre-centred 20w tungsten hologen source and electric tranformer with intensity control input voltage 220v or 110 volts.
Intermediate Tube - Built-in slide out analyzer, λ-Gypsum Plate, λ/4-Mica Plate and Bertrand Lens. All slides are locked into the tube and can be inserted in the optical path as per requirement.
Compensator - λ-Gypsum Plate (1st order red compensating plate, 560 nanometers) and λ/4-Mica Plate (145 nanometers).
Objectives - Achromatic, Semi-plan Objectives P-4x, P-10x and P-40x SL.
Eyepieces - Widefield Eyepiece WF-10x and H5 Cross & H10x micro.
Polarizer - Fully Rotatable Polarizer on strain free adobe-condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris-diaphragm.

Ore Monocular Microscope is a principal piece of polarising microscope fitted with reflected & transmitted light illuminators used by Geologists to observe the optical properties of minerals. It has indispensable applications for Petrography, Crystallography, Geology or finding stress points in metal, glass textiles, etc. It permits orthoscopically or conoscopically to examine and identify the structures of material with highly resolved distinctive images under various magnifications.

Body - The Microscope is having monocular head with 45° inclined observation tube
Nosepiece - Precise quadruple revolving nosepiece with precise centering and positive click stops, ensures accurate position of the objectives
Stage - Compact ball-bearing centerable rotating stage, 140mm diameter, graduated with vernier, lock and two stage specimen clips.
Focussing - By vertical movement of stage, coarse adjustment by rack-pinion knobs and fine movement by screw-lever mechanism driven by graduated knobs
Illuminator - Koehler's transmitted illuminator with pre-centred 20W tungsten halogen source and integral electric transformer with intensity control is concealed inside the base. Input voltage 220V or 110 Volts.
Incident Illuminator - Reflected light incident illuminator consits of a polarizing unit, slot for filter holders and a 20 Watt. intensity control transformer is provided externally.
Intermediate Optical Tube - Built-in focussable Bertrand lens with centre adjustable. Built-in analyzer removable from optical path. Analyzer can be rotated 90° with a vernier reading to 6'. Compensator λ and λ/4 can be inserted in the tube as per requirement.
